Hotel Normandie LA
Charming hotel located in the heart of Koreatown, in an ideal location to reach Downtown
This hotel in the heart of Koreatown is immediately captivating. Built in 1926 in a Renaissance Revival style, the hotel's brick walls and pretty arcades make it an instant hit with guests. It quickly gained notoriety and welcomed distinguished guests such as English author Malcolm Lowry, who stayed here while writing his bestseller Under the Volcano (1947). The only problem: parking. If you use the hotel's parking services, you'll be charged US$40 for 24 hours. If you want to park for free, be prepared to take a fifteen-minute turn in the surrounding streets.
