We love this hotel from which you can walk to the beach in Santa Monica. With its neutral color palette, large windows that let in the sublime light typical of Los Angeles, and high-quality furniture and fabrics, the hotel does everything it can to make you feel at home... with added California charm! The lobby was crowded when we arrived and our room was not ready despite it being around 4pm. This was a nuisance but the front desk staff quickly made up for it by giving us a food and beverage credit, and taking us to the restaurant beside the very nice roof-top bar and pool. The manager, Pia, was particularly excellent—finding us a quiet table to relax with our kid, and suggesting some outstanding food options.

Much later that night, I returned for a drink at the bar and the same manager not only remembered me and arranged for an after-hours snack, but even remembered my daughter's name. A+ service. The room was very nice and pleasantly quiet. In the morning, we had brunch in the downstairs restaurant. Food and were excellent. Will return to this place. Highly recommend.

Don’t stay here unless you want 100’s of the loudest minimum wage employees on strike with megaphones and sirens waking you up at 6 and parading around every morning, all morning
