I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Bel-Air. My wife’s birthday was the occasion and a subtle mention by me during the spa reservation resulted in so many birthday surprises. From the gorgeous and delicious edible display in the room to the lovely cake at dinner. The Bel Air helped me spoil my wife the 5-star way and it very appreciated. The property of course is beautiful but the team are clearly exceptional as well.
My stay at Hotel Bel Air was not just luxurious; it epitomized elite hospitality. It's a rare pleasure to encounter service that not only understands but anticipates the refined tastes of its guests. The attention to detail and intuitive service I experienced didn't just meet my expectations; they redefined the standards by which I judge all hospitality experiences. From the front desk to restaurant dining, in-room dining, and housekeeping, the level of elegance and sophistication was unparalleled.
Their lounge is truly great for special occasions such as Christmas. Their team is happy to see you, they treat you well, interior is great, people to speak to are great.
The review is for the restaurant only. This place used to be great years ago, it’s not anymore, to say the least.
The service is inexistent and useless; I’m still waiting for my water and hot sauce; they never checked on us, and it took them 30 minutes to take our order. You get more attention in almost any other restaurant.
But the food manages to be even worse than the service. My smoked salmon Benedict was just awful; I barely touched it (weird pieces of nerves, and they dropped some eggshells…). It gave me a stomachache too, so be careful. Other dishes were as bad as this one.
The price is outrageous, but any price would be outrageous, since the food and service are just terrible.
Again, it used to be a great place, but they totally dropped the ball, do yourself a favor and go to the Beverly Hills hotel instead if you’re looking for a fancy meal.
The coffee, orange juice ???? is simple delicious and elegant.

The food and service is excellent. The wine and liquor list is extensive.
The veal cutlet was delicious. The cookies are a must try after the meal.
