Hotel super bem localizado. Mas o entendimento e a estrutura deixam bastante a desejar. A localização do hotel é fantástica.
Only plus is the location. Don’t bother trying to check in before 4pm, not gonna happen. It’s literally just a motel, a room, nothing more. The room itself is ok. A little more run down than the pictures look. It was cold while we were there so we turned on the heater, then a strong smell of urine came out of the heater so we had to turn it off. Compared to other nearby hotels/motels it is cheaper, so I guess you get what you pay for.
Perfect wee spot! Lovely clean renovated rooms and fantastic location across from the beach (towels provided) and close to all the Santa Monica action. Would come back in a heart beat, it's a calm oasis!
Only real positive about this “hotel” is the location. This is amazing. Also the garden is nice. Further it’s not a hotel. No lobby, no service, no breakfast. Only a simple room. Paid more than 300$ for 1 night, that’s crazy.
Check in was a negative surprise as well. Don’t know who it was, but very unfriendly and no eye for the guest. It seems he doesn’t like guests. The one who was there during checkout was much more friendly.
A very good choice for Santa Monica (walking distance to the Pier) and Venice Beaches. Well connected for the rest of LA. Higher-end motel style architectural design with delightful rooms. On-site parking available but expensive.
Wonderful location, just overlooking the beach the room very nicely decorated with a beachy vibe, super clean, new bathroom, even beach towels and beach bag are provided, a nice terrace to admire the ocean. A fridge and mini bar in the room. All you need. Breakfast spots open from early morning just a minute walk away. Definitely recommended.
No sé cuándo. Pagamos con Revolut.
This hotel has an excellent location - a very leisurely 10mins to the Santa Monica Pier, 10mins to all the action on Main St and 2 mins from the beach. We were able to checkin early at 11.45am and were upgraded to a ocean view room with a kitchenette - the extra space was great and the kitchen was well equipped. The room itself was fine but very tired around the edges. The bathroom seemed newly renovated and was very clean but had poor shower pressure. There was little to no soundproofing and we could hear absolutely everything from our upstairs neighbours and from people sitting at the tables and chairs outside our room. For what you get this is definitely an expensive hotel but it's a 'cheap' option staying in Santa Monica where hotels can be extremely expensive - for the location it's worth it if you can forgive the fact that you're essentially staying in a motel. Service was efficient but not overly friendly.
The staff at Bayside were friendly, they were able to get us an early check in which was so helpful. The location can’t be beat, it’s a quick walk to the water. The room was nice and clean, unfortunately the soundproofing isn’t great. We could hear people outside and people walking around in the room above us. Overall, I would recommend!
Our experience at the Bayside Hotel in Santa Monica was exceptional. The stay surpassed my expectations in every aspect. Despite its slightly dated exterior, the interior boasted a modern ambiance with newly renovated flooring, bathrooms, and beds. Its prime location just across from the beach was incredibly convenient. The service was outstanding; the staff ( Kosta ) went above and beyond, granting us a complimentary upgrade upon request. Their kindness and hospitality made our stay memorable, and we're already planning a return in the near future. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel without any hesitation.
This beachfront hotel in Santa Monica is a coastal paradise! The views of the ocean from the rooms and common areas instantly set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are well-appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The attentive staff goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless stay, and the proximity to the beach allows for easy access to the sun, sand, and surf. The hotel's amenities, from the pool to the dining options, contribute to a memorable and enjoyable experience. Ideal for those seeking a perfect beach retreat with a touch of luxury.
boyfriend's laptop got left behind. staff couldn't find it. only logical conclusion is that a cleaner found it—and yet, after 2 weeks of checking in almost daily, there's been 0 updates. nobody's even checked with the person who cleaned the room after his stay. absolutely disorganized service, and now it's too late to even hope that he's getting his laptop back. you're better off spending your money elsewhere.
