HOTEL ANGELENO
This hotel with a cylindrical architecture, bordered by Autoroute 405, seems to have been released from a science fiction film. A little in the middle of nowhere, the Angeleno puts a round-trip shuttle to transport its customers within a radius of less than 10 kilometres: UCLA, the Getty Center, and the Skirball Cultural Center are among the nearby attractions. Far from being a strategic choice for the one who wants to take full advantage of the area (apart from the cars on the freeway, nothing moves around, neither day nor night), the Angeleno has the advantage of hosting a bar restaurant which offers an entirely unreal view.

I left a golden necklace here that had extreme sentimental value to me. I know exactly where I left it and I reported this to the hotel. When I showed up to the hotel to hopefully recover it.
I waited in the lobby for about an hour waiting for a response from housekeeping to see if the necklace had been found. I suspect that this waiting time was being used to come up with some excuse.
The staff was very dismissive, I was told that the necklace was not found and that the room had another guest in it after me. I politely asked for the guests contact information to reach out to them. The attendant told me that the guest was only there for a few hours and they did not have their contact information.
This seems very suspicious, since to check into the hotel you need to provide ID and contact info. And what kind of guest stays in a hotel room for only a few hours?
The front desk had my contact information but somehow not the guest that had stayed after me.
I will be reaching out to upper level management to recover compensation or better yet, to recover what is mine.
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT ABOUT STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY.
I DON'T LIKE SURRENDERING MY VEHICLE TO ANYONE.
THEY HAVE A PARKING STRUCTURE BUT SOMEHOW I'M INCOMPETENT TO PARK THERE.
THE ROOM WAS NICE THE VIEWS WERE EXCELLENT.
THE STRUCTURE OF THE HOTEL WAS FUN AND UNIQUE OLD STANDARD FROM HOLIDAY INN GOING BACK TO THE LATE '60S.
THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY BUT WAS TOLD AND NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT I CANNOT PARK MY CAR MYSELF.
THERE'S A RESTAURANT AT THE TOP OF THE HOTEL WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS.
THEY SERVE BREAKFAST (PRICES WERE REASONABLE)
