Nestled in the heart of West Hollywood, Petit Ermitage is an oasis of luxury and charm. The exceptional service provided by Ismael truly sets this boutique hotel apart. Do not stay here if you can avoid it. Rooms feel like my great grandma's house, if she hadn't fixed anything for 100 years. Very uncomfortable and highly overpriced for what you get. Many much nicer hotels in the area. Just about any other hotel actually. The pool is okay during the daytime, although there are limited loungers so you'll probably have to wait a while to get one, and the use is limited to a couple hours before they make room for the next guest. Service at the loungers is horrendous, so expect to go order food or drinks from the bar and bring your own water. The food is very mediocre. LA has amazing food, but not here.

The only reason to stay at Petite Ermitage is if it's your only way in to the party Fri/Sat night. But it's not that good of a party to be worth the run-down room, poor service and significant expense.

On a side note, the service at night is actually pretty good. I guess it's a totally different staff and manager.

But as a place to stay this one is a no. Save your money while staying somewhere much nicer.
