The Palihotel is above all a spirit. This address is part of a triptych of hotels held by the same group. It is distinguished by its retro-vintage decor with deer woods to the wall, dimpled velvet sofas and metal chairs, bulbs whose incandescent wire illuminates blue oil paint, all of which are covered by the walls of the hotel. Stacks of books arranged here and there take part in the place of the place. The hotel's restaurant, The Hart and the Hunter, also makes the hotel proud.

The rooms are too dark but comfy bed and pillows. it is very loud all day, especially if you're facing the street. During the day, the room service ladies are too loud. The ear plugs dont help. There is no microwave or extra space in the fridge to not have to leave your room. The restroom door is glass, and there is a skylight, so you can't keep the light from coming in, and having a completely dark room parking was the WORST. There is no direct access. You have to exit the hotel and walk around to an alley to get in. No phone for direct contact to reception. Everything is through your phone, like the website for guests. The only good thing was the girl and guy from reception they were very nice and helpful and another guy nicely dressed, probably the manager he was also nice. Also, it's a good thing there is a mini market across the street literally steps away.

I travel the country for work, and this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Currently sitting in the room, and after asking for the air conditioning to be turned off twice (because you cannot turn it off yourself from your room) yet the AC is still blasting. There are no phones in the room to contact the front desk, the alarm clock went off at 4:30 a.m. there were homeless people outside of the hotel screaming all night. Trash trucks blaring down the alley at 5 in the morning. I do not understand how they justify the price for such a janky, small, loud, rundown hotel. I will never be back and recommend if you are ever in Hollywood, not to stay at this hotel. Absolutely awful. Very deceptive how they present the hotel online.

Billing itself as an ”Offbeat boutique hotel with eclectic rooms," it certainly lives up to that. Although they were absolutely functional: a folding ladder with hangers on which to hang clothes; three-handled faucets-one for hot, one for cold and one to drain; no in-room phones yet an interactive screen through which to obtain services. A great place to stay in West Hollywood!

Worst experience ever I would never recommend going to this hotel!!!! homeless people living across the street on the sidewalk right in front of the hotel not a safe place for children & the hotel elevator looks like it’s about to break down the rooms look like cabins & the Staff is unhelpful with getting back a refund. Worst experience in my life with a Hotel. !!!

Beautiful hotel. Always always friendly staff. I have to book artists here for work and they are always SO helpful and accommodating with my reservations and requests. Never had anything but compliments on the stays here! We love it.
