Minifunicular serving the hill and accessible from California Plaza, currently immortalized in many works.

Accessible from California Plaza - or S Olive Street, via the stairs on the right, below the tunnel - this mini-funicular is a historic monument. Built in 1901, it served the hill before being closed for a long period, after which it was rehabilitated. Today, it is immortalized in several works, such as the film La La Land (2016) - starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone - and the crime novel Angels Flight (1998 ) by Michael Connelly. It's also possible to see film shoots taking place here.

Charmant petit funiculaire avec en plus le clin d’œil au merveilleux LalaLand, il permet en outre de s'éviter un long détour pour remonter du bas de Downtown vers le Broad. Ultra typique et romantique (1 dollar seulement)

Incroyable retour dans le passé, avec un clin d'oeil à La La Land, le Angel's Flight fonctionne de nouveau depuis cette année. Il ne sera pas d'une grande utilité mais la courte course reste sympathique et agréable.
