Founded in 1980 to rescue historic buildings that were destined to disappear, Hollywood Heritage continues to work to preserve and protect the neighborhood environment. In this museum, the organization displays treasures from the early days of Hollywood cinema. Among the exhibits are posters and photos from the early days of Hollywood, the camera used by Charlie Chaplin in 1919, and director Cecil B. DeMille's desk and many of his props.
