Museum with remarkable reproductions of fossils extracted from a deposit in the heart of the city of Los Angeles.

In addition to its life-size reproductions of dinosaurs and mammoths, this museum is renowned for the work of its archaeologists, who can be seen on the exciting "Excavator Tour". They work on reconstructing fossils extracted from the surrounding site, an active research area: discovered in 1875 in the heart of the city, it is a deposit containing the footprints of species that lived in the Ice Age. In addition to its exhibitions, Brea Tar Pits & Museum organizes a wide range of tours and workshops, the agenda of which can be consulted online.

A voir absolument !
