Santa Monica Pier is home to an aquarium, stores, restaurants, pubs, and the Pacific Park amusement park.

Since its construction in 1909, the Santa Monica Pier has undergone numerous modifications and renovations. Today, it is still a place of entertainment and outing for a large crowd. There's an aquarium - Heal the Bay Aquarium - stores, restaurants, pubs and the Pacific Park amusement park, recognizable from afar by its Ferris wheel and roller coaster. The highlight: the magnificent carousel dating from 1922. All in all, it's more touristy than authentic, and far from a must-see.

La fameuse jetée telle qu'on peut la voir dans les films ou les séries. De mon point de vue, l'ensemble est un peu surfait et a perdu de son authenticité. Il y a énormément de monde et ça manque de chaleur

Une des jetées les plus célèbres du monde. On apprécie s'y balader lors d'une soirée d'été. Des concerts y sont souvent organisés. Un petit parc d'attraction s'y trouve avec notamment la grande roue, pour une vue inoubliable sur la plage et les alentours.

Santa Monica est souvent representé dans les films realisés en Californie, ainsi quand on se retrouve devant cette plage et son parc d'attraction, tout paraît familier ! Les palmiers et la chaleur californienne font de cet endroit un rêve! De plus, la plage est très propre. A ne pas rater!
