Arts district near Little Tokyo, constituting an open-air museum with graffiti and paintings on its brick walls.
These early 20th-century warehouse complexes now form one of the most vibrant neighborhoods on the Angeleno art scene. Just a stone's throw from Little Tokyo, the Arts District is a veritable open-air museum. Today, its red and brown brick walls display magnificent examples of street art, and disused warehouses have been converted into cultural centers, galleries and trendy bars. Visit the Downtown website for a map of the galleries: allow at least 2 hours to explore them, from Hauser & Wirth to Wisdome LA.
