OLVERA STREET
Street with restaurants of generous Mexican cuisine, craft market, stores and historic villa in the heart of the Pueblo.
This little street, lulled by the music of the mariachis and perfumed with the scent of generous Mexican cuisine, is the heart of the Pueblo. Made up of a succession of restaurants and boutiques, it's home to a crafts market... of varying degrees of authenticity. Stalls selling ceramics, ponchos, decorations, pots and crockery rub shoulders with those selling postcards, key rings and sandals. This is also where you'll find Alvila Adome, a villa built in 1818 and open to visitors as a testimony to the life of the settlers here.
