After Zurich, London, New York and Somerset, the renowned gallery specializing in contemporary and modern art opened in Los Angeles in March 2016. Founded in 1992 by the couple Iwan and Manuela Wirth with the latter's mother, Ursula Hauser, it is located between Arts District and Little Tokyo, among restored buildings, some of which date from the late 19th century. It features beautiful courtyards with sculptures, a bookstore, a South American-inspired restaurant and the city's first Artbook store.
