Like the neighborhood, Edelweiss is a refined establishment: no wonder it is considered an institution. Since its opening in 1942, the store has seen the greatest stars of Hollywood's Golden Age come and go. For example, Frank Sinatra's favorite chocolates were maple cream, while actress Katharine Hepburn loved dark turtles. Today, gourmet marshmallows, assortments and bars are available. In total, there are 70 varieties of chocolate, from French truffles to caramel popcorn.
