HERMOSA HOTEL ^{* *}

While our recent stay left something to be desired in terms of room cleanliness, we were incredibly grateful for the accommodating staff who allowed us to store our belongings until our check-in time at 4pm. Despite the room being a bit dirty, my wife was not a fan, but personally, I didn’t mind much, especially considering the good deal we got. The flexibility and kindness of the staff in accommodating our needs made a positive impact on our overall experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

Cons
Calling this place a shack is doing it a BIG favor:
- completely uninsulated
- rain puddles on the floor
- A/C and heat on a 30 minute timer
- makes a youth hostel look like a palace
- steep stairs everywhere
- most rooms are down the block
- room size about the same as a crew cabin on a cruise ship
- website room photos heavily Photoshopped to make the rooms look "quaint" rather than horrible

Furniture
- bed (old and squeaky)
- Night stand 9" x 12"
(no other furniture present; nothing else)

No place for clothes
- no closet
- no bureau
- no drawers

No flat surfaces
- no desk
- no table

Only one power socket next to the wall mounted TV. None elsewhere except the bathroom.

TV
channels don't work (subscription not paid)

Bathroom
- hot water isn't hot in the sink
- shower head falling off
- shower water temperature never got above warm
- soap the size of a postage stamp
- location of the bathroom light switch is still a mystery

All this for only $360 per night.

Amazing cottage with view. Ov3, ov4 a must rent!

Have called for 4 days and not once answer phone. Left voice-mail and haven't heard back from them.

Staff were very friendly. The room was nice but a little dingy. Our tv and heater didn’t work and the front desk didn’t respond to a voicemail we left for them to fix it. The shower is small and awkward to use. Great location in the center of town though. Overall, you don’t get much for what you are paying.
