They call butter chicken as masala lamb curry lol.

This place was good but we had a lot of trouble getting service, both initially and later on when we wanted the check. Good value though, especially for a tourist destination.

I wanted a spa-like get away from the hustle and bustle while the kids were skiing. Walking in it was not too busy, traditional Nepal music and wall tapestries with white tablecloths and real glassware was just what I wanted. I got the green tea and Veg Pakauda to start, the mint chutney compliments the fried onion and cabbage so well, perfectly spiced and crisped. Then I had garlic Naan and salmon Masala, this is where it gets AMAZING!!! The cream sauce was beyond! If you want rice also you have to order it, I chose to just dip the Naan instead. I also asked for a side of raita yogurt and tamarind. Perfection. My day was peaceful and my meal was heaven.

Won’t recommend to anybody, Rude customer service and food tasted old. Appetizers came while we’re having the main course.

Trusted the online reviews and totally disappointed.Service was slow and indifferent, and the meat tasted old. Hope for improvements.

Employees are not friendly, food doesn’t taste good. Feels like been scammed by reviews!!

Such a great meal! Wonderful chicken Momo, and tikka masalas. The chai was a little too milky but that would be the only thing I can criticize. Absolutely recommend!

Delicious food, cool atmosphere, and wonderful service. It's worth a visit when you are in or near Big Bear.
I recommend the Butter Chicken! Creamy deliciousness. Yummy!

Nice restaurant if you like Himalayan foods which were heavy in cumin and curry flavored foods.

Me gustó la comida. Los meseros no son muy amables y nadie habla eapañol. El.menú está en Indú... La comida no trae guarniciones. Todo es aparte. Buen sabor. Precio alto relacion comida/precio.

I am kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. Such an affordable extensive menu, for my vegan friends and meat eaters too. No more over paying for burgers or pizza, we are coming here every time for a delicious fresh meal. I live in downtown San Diego and cannot find curry that compares to this place, maybe it just tastes so amazing after a day of hiking in the cold ???? please give this place a shot, you are bound to find something you love. Try the potato naan bread!!!

Really lovely people and food. The Mo-Mo’s are to die for and the curry here has such incredible flavor.

The food is good and the portions are plenty, but we’ve been there twice and requested “no bell pepper” due to allergy. Both times our food came out with bell peppers on it. The first time it happened, they took our plate to the kitchen, removed the bell peppers and then brought it back out to us. lol.

Came in with my wife and 2 kids to a packed house. Been in town 4 days and every restaurant we went to besides this one was empty. Being Indian I was Def skeptical at 1st but after talking with the staff and seeing the restaurant full we sat down. Glad we did since the food was delicious, ambiance was better than expected and the service was excellent. I guess people who come up don't like to eat good authentic food but I can tell you this place is great. We had tandoori platter, chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo and palak paneer. Only complaint I have is I had no more room to fit more food :) thank you for a delicious meal.

I'm still thinking about the Lamb Masala I had there, can't wait to go back, some of the best I've ever had. The garlic naan was delicious. It did take a while for them to cook my food, but the wait was worth it and the food was very fresh, and I had a couple of drinks to tide me over (full bar). Can't wait to get back there. I might even make a special trip.

Came in here to escape the rain and the location was very fragrant from the spices. This place was surprisingly good, and for the price you get a large enough portion. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Decent food, maybe even good if the service would have managed our order correctly. We were looking forward to some spicy Indian food and not having been here before, asked our server for medium/hot spice, the server said 5 would be too hot and that he'd make it a 3 and bring some spice on the side. We got our food and no spice on the side. We asked for the extra spice and the server said he would get it. We tried the food, it was not spicy at all. We waited what felt like 10 minutes–it was at least 5–and the food was getting cold so we started eating assuming we'd spice it up shortly. We slowly ate our food, hoping that the spice would be around the corner, never seeing our server. We ended up finishing our dishes without seeing him. We sat after finishing our meal with empty drinks, and saw our server across the restaurant. We called him over to let him know we'd like to pay the bill. No questions about how the food was, no apology for abandoning us. Very disappointed in the experience, there were people standing inside waiting for a table watching us eat the entire time. The food was decent, and prices were good, but I don't expect to be back.

Not responsive to phone calls, we tried few times, no answer. Reliability is the most important factors for visitors and clients. I call them again soon, if they answer, we do business with them and hopefully I edit my review. Soon.

I've been to 2 Indian restaurants in big bear and this one is the one to go to. It's bigger and I like the food more.

Food was good, especially the lentils. My lamb was a little dry, though.

Delivery took about an hour, but unfortunately they forgot our naan. I called and they came back out to drop it off so props there.

Un petit coup de cœur pour la cuisine indienne de ce resto à Big Bear Lake. Tellement savoureuse. Ça m'a conquis.
