A small hotel one block from the Amtrak station and close to EVERYTHING!

This hotel left me in a nightmare while on vacation. I tried to split the payment onto two cards . Charged both accounts full amount. - I was left with no cash on my own vacation. Then said they need to charge it AGAIN. Even tho you can clearly see my accounts were drained.

The front desk didn’t care and showed lots of attitude towards my situation. They had me call the bank - and then release the hold just to leave even though both of my accounts were clearly charged twice and you can clearly see my accounts were drained of everything . ( Over the weekend holds are not released right away ) . Because of this I was left broke and didn’t have any Cash at all during my last three days of vacation . And NOW charged me again 3 days later .

They did NOTHING to compensate me for such an ordeal. I would not recommend this hotel if you don’t have extra cash bc they will charge you several times in a row and then say sorry when you’re left with nothing .

Where to begin? The room is like 150 sq ft and the bathroom is like 6x6. It's so small that the bathroom is laid out like a camper where curtains separate the shower, vanity and toilet.

Services? No fridge, or elevator (not sure how a motility challenged individual would stay here). Drinking water - bring your own.

Location - did i mention the train line adjacent to the hotel. Thin walls and train noises- hope you're a deep sleeper.

Great shops and restraunts nearby.

Nice room a little small, comfortable bed, not soundproof, water pressure could have been better, slippers would have been nice, clean, filtered water available outside the room, liked the tiny patio, great location

Second time staying here. Rooms are fine if a little small, I had no issues with ac/heating as others have mentioned. If you stay on the side of the hotel over the restaurant below it is quite noisy until around 9:30/10pm but is very quiet after. The bathroom/shower is small and strange. A glass door separates one side while a curtain is on the other. My biggest complaint is the shower pressure. Anyone with long hair will have issues getting shampoo out. Showering takes a long time due to the pressure, this has been an issue at each room I’ve stayed in and is not a single room problem. Room is mostly clean, I would appreciate not having the decorative pillow on the bed which i assume is never washed. Front staff was absent when I tried to check out, so waited around 10 minutes for her to return.

Wonderful gem of a hotel in a great and lively neighborhood.

Smaller rooms but still comfortable and for the price it felt like a good deal. Close to funk zone and many bars and restaurants. Had an upstairs outdoor patio area on both sides that were nice for sitting and chatting.

Lovely refurbished older property, with friendly staff in a nice location. Dog friendly, with a short walk to their facility. Rooms were bright and clean with very good bathroom facilities. For those traveling on Amtrak, the station is a short walk from the hotel. There are also many restaurants in a short walking distance.

This hotel is in the perfect location, within walking distance from the train station and right in the middle of a ton of amazing restaurants/drinking establishments and shopping. The beach is not far and neither is downtown. The room we stayed in was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean, aesthetic and worked for our 2 day stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. You really can't beat the value, either. Highly recommend!

My gf surprised me for my birthday with a weekend getaway to Santa Barabra at the end of August. We stayed at the Riviera Beach for the 3 days we were there. The rooms are very small but you cant beat the location of where its at. Like many, we turned the AC on as soon as we got into our room but quickly noticed it wasnt cooling the room off. We notified the front desk about the issue and they stated they would send someone to come take a look in the morning. They provided us with a small desk size fan that didnt do much. The next morning we asked them when someone would be avialable to come take a look, and they mentioned within the next few hours. We didnt mind since we were going out for while. We were gone for about half the day to arrive back with still no AC working. We again contacted the front desk and they mentioned they had not had a chance to get someone in there. By this point, I was frustrated knowing the problem was on going from the time we got there the day before. They provided a second desk sized fan to try and help but again it didnt do much. The entire weekend our room was between 78 ans 80 degrees. And sadly it never got resolved during our stay. Needless to say, our stay at this place was not as enjoyable as we had hoped, espcially for what my GF paid for it.
Since August we have sent several emails regarding our stay and several phone messages with no response. I am a bit dissapointed with having not recieved any kind of contact from management or even an attempt to resolve the issue.

The hotel is in a nice location and decent value. The rooms are small and not super clean. There is not free parking on site.
