The rooms could use a refresh (new towels and sheets, fresh paint) but overall the hotel is consistent and great.

We love the Ace—especially during mid-week when the property is less crowded. The pool is the highlight, and by looking at pictures, I’m sure you can see why. The pool staff is attentive and fast. We like to order menu items like the arugula salad, breakfast bacon and tater tots to eat while the kids play.

I was here in March before Easter.
The staff was lovely. There were SO many little KIDS running around. One kid POOPED in the hot tub! Brown swirls, enough said. Why are kids allowed in the hot tub? Isn’t the pool enough? Im talking kids under the age of 5, unaccompanied. Parents in a lounger. Pool toys in the hot tub. Upsetting trip.
The beds weren’t as comfortable as I expected.
Spent 600$ between the room, taxes, and the drinks, couldn’t even enjoy the hot tub & left disgusted.
Underwhelmed & disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be back for awhile.

We went for Bingo with the Fabulous Bella Da Ball as host & had a Fabulous time! Disappointed that we ordered the Special, fried chicken, leg & thigh & what we got were large Chicken strips. ????. Otherwise it was fun!

The Ace is a cool property. Don’t expect a 5 star luxury, but it’s definitely a vibe.
The biggest issue this trip was the amount of kids. I totally get that Ace isn’t an adults only hotel, but this time it felt like a chuck-e-cheese.
I’ve been here multiple times and there were never so many kids banshee-shrieking, crying, and melting down all over the place. Multiple unattended toddlers in the hot tub.
Music was notably more tame and quiet. Pool and hot tub are open til 2:00am but some parent told us that ‘it’s late and their kids are trying to sleep’ at 10:30pm (nobody was being rowdy).
Suggestion to mgmt: Since you have 2 pools, consider making 1 of them adults only.

We came here with the kids and had a blast. Fun for everyone involved. Great vibes with the staff, lots of attention to the guests, and nice clean rooms. The slushy Paloma’s poolside were a treat!

Loved the hotel, room, shower, pool area, sitting area, patio, restaurant, bar and staff. And thanks for being pet friendly. My only concern was not having a USB port in the room to charge technology. Other than that, all was well. Thank you for a great stay.

Great place to stay, we didn't leave the hotel over our 2 day stay.

No coffee in rooms and quite a lot of noise from doors banging

Cool place. Seems to be very popular with hipster parents with young children. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and everything was clean.

Very sad to see this place deteriorate under the new ownership. I’ve stayed here many times over the last 10 years and even got married here because we loved it so much, but all that magic is gone. Just look around, it’s falling apart from neglect, and stripped of the creative inspiration that made it such a fun place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend it in the current condition.

Excellent location. Rooms are clean and bed super comfortable. Staff SUPER friendly and helpful. We booked 10 rooms and coming back in September. Very happy overall. This is the place to stay if you’re traveling solo or with family.

The suits are incredible, like real apartments. They have a massive shower for 10 people and the bed and pillows are the most comfortable i have ever slept in. The decor in the suites is art deco 70s. Absolutely loved it

I used to absolutely love my stays at various Ace Hotel locations up and down the West Coast but in recent year I have had the most pretentious service, especially when sitting at the bar at the Palm Springs and Portland locations. Typically I never review anything and shrug off cold experiences but oh my how has your hospitality fell off this much? My wife is currently pregnant and we almost felt like she was going to be asked to leave since she wasn’t having a beverage. You charge $18 for a Negroni, which you put in plastic cups and aren’t even nice. Damn, sad what such a great institution has become. Not cool, not nice and kind of hilarious that you think you got it going on.

Worst room ever, disguised as a hipster hotel. Supposed to cater to millennials but the WiFi wasn't even working. No housekeeping, the room smelled. Very high resort fee for simply having a pool. I would never stay at an Ace again. When I asked the front desk how they could charge so much for the room they shrugged and said, it's an expensive area. Camping would have been better!

First time at this property during midweek. Really enjoyed that vibe! Not a luxe hotel but just comfy and chill. The team delivers a pleasant, high level of service though! The Orange Julius slushie poolside took me back to trips to the mall as a kid. Blame it on the alcohol?! A nice visit

What an amazing night we spent here! Cody at the front desk was super helpful with recommendations. He also was so kind to upgrade us for our special night to an amazing room with a patio and fireplace. The pool was great with fantastic pool drinks. Highly recommend!

Beware, rooms are dated and worn. Comfortable setup for a few days though with pool, restaurant and bar onsite.

A very unique hotel and a really nice atmosphere , from the decor , architecture and even the pool background music , country western I think! A really enjoyable hotel and the views of the mountains in the background are spectacular
One note to mention, I had a nasty surprise when checking out, the hotel adds another $45 per day resort fee, when I checked my prepayment it specifically says I had paid taxes and fees in advance and that they were included in my price. The hotel manager told me that these fees were still not included, I argued this is shady business practice and refused to pay, I did my homework and it’s not compulsory to pay these fees, you can argue that you wasn’t told about them and refuse to pay, which I did! Eventually and reluctantly the manager removed the fees. So stand your ground if you don’t want to pay these additional fees!

One of the very best hotels I have ever been to! ????????????
The room was in need of some major care. Shower didn’t work the first night. Had to shower in the spa area. Refrigerator made so much noise I had to put a towel as a buffer just to sleep. Not the greatest.
The redemption came in the form of service. The staff here are truly amazing. They really make every guest feel special. Even made my dog feel important. That’s major for me.
I’ll be back as I love this hotel chain. It’s the people for me. Oh and the jazz nites are top notch.
