PALM SPRINGS AIR MUSEUM
Museum with the largest collection of World War II aircraft organizing interactive activities for children
This museum houses the world's largest collection of World War II aircraft. The exhibition is divided into several hangars: one dedicated to the Pacific, another to Europe, another to Korea and Vietnam, while the last two are devoted to the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and the Lockheed-Martin F-117 Nighthawk respectively. The whole tour lasts an hour and a half, and is punctuated by interactive activities: for example, it is possible to climb into some of the machines, which should be particularly amusing for children.
