We loved the JTI. The location is super convenient to entering the National Park and it’s near many options for food, fuel, coffee, etc. However, the best part about the Joshua Tree Inn is of course it’s rich history followed closely by its fantastic atmosphere. You can just feel the rock n roll vibe in this place and they do a great job honoring the spirit of Gran Parsons. The atmosphere of the Inn is of a different time and has a spirit of freedom and creativity all around it. The Donovan suite was a big place with 2 beds, full kitchen and bath and was very well appointed. The staff is awesome and I cannot recommend checking out this place. I would love to return sometime, it’s just a really cool place to stay. We loved it.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR A WEDDING. I have a wedding soon and blocked out rooms with this location. They called and said we owe over 3 grand after the wedding because only 2 of the blocked out rooms were booked. I have had multiple guests attempt to call and book rooms which we blocked out and even signed an agreement for. Each guests said they were unable to book a room and were given a run around from employees. We even had a guest book a blocked out room just for the motel to place this guest in a room that was not blocked out and not credited towards us. After discussing this with an employee, we had another guest call multiple times trying to book a room, just for the employee to say she needs to call management and then call me to verify. (Whatever that means). This place is refusing to book my guests rooms when my wedding is 2 weeks away. This place is running a scam and then telling you that you owe thousands of dollars for unbooked rooms, when they refuse to book my guests rooms.

This was an awesome place for an over night stay on our day trip to Joshua Tree Park. We were greeted by Justin who checked us in and gave us a tour of the very cool property. The Emily Lou Harris room was period specific with a great bed, pillows and linens. The courtyard area is very cool and the pool looks huge (Early February so we didn't indulge). Very convenient to town and the west Park Visitor center.
I would have to think this was one of the top places to stay in JT

My Dad got me into the Flying Burrito Brothers at around eight years old (honestly, I don't think I was into the music at that time but their suits!). I do bi-annual road trips and was excited to finally work the inn in.
It was GREAT! It had such a comprehensive check in where the gentleman pretty much covered everything but in a short amount of time. The room was cozy and had a fridge, microwave and coffee. The only glitch I encountered was: it took me a looong while to get the hot water to kick in but it did eventually happen and the buttons were worn off the air conditioner so initially it was difficult to program it.
The landscaping is perfect and I didn't go in the pool but it was extremely tempting because all the grounds are so inviting.
Stay here if you can!

This is the first time I have managed to get back here since 2019 because of travel restrictions. I’m pleased to report that The jtinn has lost none of its charm and remains a tranquil escape from everyday life. Since my last stay there have been a few improvements to make your stay even better without taking away the charm of the place. The staff here are first rate, Kellen when i checked in, and a special thanks to Deedee and Justin who made me so welcome- wish i could’ve stayed longer.

Back again in 2023 with my brother. still a perfect place to stay and the enhancements made over the past year have added to the experience- especially the heating for the pool - without taking away from the chic simplicity the inn affords. Justin was a great host and a pleasure to speak to. The planned beer and wine licence will further enhance the desert experience!

Best motel on earth.

The Joshua Tree Inn reminds why we shouldn’t settle for less in this age of “We don’t do that anymore because COVID.”

They make the beds, they re stock snacks near the fridges.

The rooms are small, rustic, beautifully kept gems. The beds are lethally comfortable. The staff is both competent and extremely friendly.

Keyless entry perfects this diamond in the desert.

Cool little boutique motel with a lot of history! Very laid back and relaxing! Once you check in you have a great place to relax abd also you will be close to everything! Besides a giant pool with lots of places to relax, the property is surrounded by giant Yucca Trees and it's very private! Our room had its own patio and you could either have a coffee in the morning or sit with friends and enjoy the evening! Will definitely come back!

Great customer service!

So I stayed here, customer service is amazing however, I had some creepy things happen to me here. I would sleep and something would be grabbing my foot, I saw a black shadow figure in my room, the room would be nice and warm but in certain places in the room was ice ice cold to the touch. Would not go back. I’m not saying it’s haunted however, something is very wrong here.

Without knowing the history of the Joshua tree hotel, I booked a room. When I checked in I was told the history of the hotel and I was intrigued. The hotel has alot of rock and roll history. The rooms were nice and clean. They had a micro and fridge and a small back patio. Super hot water and a great room heater for the lower temps at night. Great looking pool and property with desert landscape, probably really beautiful when everything is in bloom. Gas grill for all to use was a bonus. The recommended local eateries were nice and the hotel staff were really friendly. Hope to stay again next year.

Stopped by this inn just by chance. Place is special and comfortable. Simple place to stay and relax after Joshua Tree NP. Many interesting items located all over this charming inn. Every room is nice. Every room is different.
Stayed only one night while traveling but wish i stayed longer.
