Without a doubt one of the best healthy addresses in HB, it offers a dozen appetizing salads, as well as some excellent hearty bowls with varied ingredients. We also come here for its wide variety of smoothies, from the lighter ones like the kale, spinach, pineapple and banana smoothies, to the gourmet ones like the peanut or almond butter smoothies. In addition, there are many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The restaurant is quite noisy, so we recommend you take out for lunch on the beach.

I know things change over time but this one’s a real bummer. Several locals that know the original Jan’s say the same thing. It’s just not what it used to be. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still GOOD. ***Especially if you haven’t had the original Jan’s to compare it to.*** It’s the little things.The different bread, the way Jan would stack the sandwich. The super thick smoothies and soup. The whole vibe. It used to be an easy 5 out of 5. Now I would give them a 3 out of 5. Look, if this were just some new sandwich place and I didn’t know its history I would give it 3-4 stars out of 5. But because this held to higher expectations for what it used to be- I can only give it a 3. Anyone who knows the original Jan’s I’m sure would agree.

first time here and will be returning! i ordered the kale Caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing! great place to come after a day at the beach or for a quick healthy bite! reasonably priced as well!
