Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum
Museum dedicated to surfing, housing the world's largest surfboard - 12.8 m - and the imposing bust of Duke Kahanamoku.
As its name suggests, this museum opened in 1987 and is dedicated to surfing, its culture and all the aspects that make it such a unique sport in California and internationally. There are a few curiosities, such as the world's largest board - 12.8 meters - registered in the Guinness Book of Records, and the imposing bust of Duke Kahanamoku (1890-1968), a Hawaiian professional swimmer who democratized the practice of surfing. An interesting visit, for enthusiasts or not.
