North of Gaslamp, in the Cortez Hill neighborhood, Cocina 35 is famous for its wide variety of chilaquiles, a Mexican dish made with tortillas and green or red sauce, and served for breakfast. So, although it's perfectly possible to eat here at lunchtime, it's mainly for its brunch that the address is frequented... But if Mexican specialties aren't to your liking to start the day, the restaurant has provided two alternatives entitled Los Gringos - "The Strangers" - either toast or pancakes revisited.

Beautiful place

To quote Rihanna, I found love in a hopeless place. From the charming waitress, who served the elixir of youth (Mexican coffee) to the chilaquiles that left me breathless, it was a religious experience from start to finish. May god have mercy on your soul if you give this place anything less than 5/5.

This place is amazing, if you love chilaquiles then this is the place you wanna be. So many variations of chilaquiles here to enjoy! Trust me you’ll love. Thank me later. ????
