The specialty of this chain also established in La Jolla and Encinitas: the Lobster Roll, this famous sandwich originating from the East Coast. In concrete terms, it is a brioche bun filled with lobster, to which grilled cheese can be added. Lobster West offers two other versions: crab and shrimp. He also serves delicious soups, with lobster bisque, New England clams, or Maryland crab. For dessert: Whoopie Pies. A good address, very affordable for seafood of this quality.

Great place for a quick bite. A few fixes on the outside tables could be done. Friendly staff.

Amazing lobster roll, Boston baked beans and Cole slaw. We dined outside, it was a great, quaint experience. Nd we made new friend, local fella Tim who told me all about his football star father, a runner-up to Heisman Trophy at MSU in 1952. Gotta LOVE the lobster here!!!
