You're on the embarcadero, facing the bay. Fish are fresh and the card varies according to fishing and seasonal products. We appreciate not only the kitchen but also the refined decoration surrounding the theme of the sea. A secure value and a friendly setting. Ideal for a lunch after the visit of the USS Midway or the Maritime Museum.

Both my wife and I ordered the Alaskan Halibut at $40 a plate. The table was sticky which was off putting to start with, when the food came out the fish was very average, and my side of fries were cold. The server did order me another order of fries which came out about 10 mins later after I was nearly finished with my complete meal. But COLD FRIES, COME ON!!!
Both my wife and I did our best on the drive home to justify that it "was what it was" which was very much simply acceptable but acceptable at $40 a plate is very very disappointing. We both agreed that so many restaurants at a much lower price point provide a higher level of quality of food and service that we would not be going back to The Fish Market.
This was our 3rd visit to the Fish Market this year. 1st time we loved it, ordered the same Alaskan Halibut and loved it. 2nd time was a disappointment with many of the same issues we had on this visit. This time we went early, called ahead to make sure they had the Alaskan Halibut and there was not much of a crowd and we expected so much more than they provided.
DO BETTER FISH MARKET.
