Newly built, modern and inspired design hotel in San Diego offering rooms with all the necessary amenities
Easily recognizable by its yellow and blue facade - topped by a pineapple - this new hotel is a great option for staying in the Gaslamp district. The rooms have all the necessary amenities - air conditioning, television, coffee machine - and offer a modern and inspired design. Huge, high-quality comforters adorn the beds, which are queen-sized or king-sized depending on the room. A little bonus: free bikes.

The location is very nice, close to the convention center and there are a lot of restaurants and stores. The staff are very kind and helpful.
There are two major issues during my stay. The first is the WiFi problem. This is the first time I encountered a WiFi problem after so many years of travel experience. I suspect they are using some modems from the 1980s, extremely slow.
The second is the wood floor. You can feel and hear very clearly if someone above is walking.
Otherwise, it's a cozy hotel.
