Not a day goes by in San Diego without a fresh, locally grown produce market taking place in one of its neighborhoods. However, while the Farmers Markets are best known for the quality and diversity of their food stands, they are also great for shopping, from the good organic produce they sell to the art, jewelry, accessories and clothing featured at some of the stands. So, for your shopping, choose the Ocean Beach market on Wednesday afternoon and the La Jolla and Hillcrest markets on Sunday morning.
