Scripps Mercy Hospital is located in San Diego's Hillcrest neighborhood. Founded in 1890, it offers inpatient and emergency care. It is also home to the O'Toole Breast Care Center and the Woltman Family College Building, which offers support services to cancer patients. The hospital is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a top performer in orthopedic specialty care, as well as in several of its programs, including heart attack, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, prostate cancer surgery and stroke. Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but can be adjusted according to the patient's needs or wishes.
