This park located in Escondido, about 50 miles north of Downtown, is home to nearly 3,600 animals.
Located in Escondido, about 50 kilometers north of Downtown, this park is part of the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, just like the city's zoo. The difference is that here, the animals roam freely in the different zones of the 400-hectare site. In total, there are nearly 3,600 animals, from giraffes to elephants, tigers, cheetahs and rhinoceroses. A great experience for those who do not like to see them in cages.
