Casa Del Prado is a cultural center that hosts many artistic organizations

Probably one of the most beautiful buildings in Balboa Park, this is a reconstruction of a historic building dating from the Panama-California Exposition (1915-1917). Don't miss its vaulted ceilings, columns and sculptures running the length of the façade. Casa Del Prado is also a cultural center that hosts numerous arts organizations, as well as the San Diego Botanical Garden Foundation. As such, activities take place frequently; ask at the Visitor Center for the current program.
