TIMKEN MUSEUM OF ART
Museum located in the Plaza de Panama, presents a collection that traces more than 700 years of art history
In the Plaza de Panama, in an elegant building designed by Frank L. Hope and Associates, is a beautiful museum with a modern style that stands out from the other Hispanic-influenced buildings in the park. Opened in 1965, the Timken Museum of Art presents a collection that traces more than 700 years of art history through the works of famous artists such as Rembrandt, Jacques-Louis David, Petrus Christus and John Singleton Copley. On the walls: altarpieces from the 14th century, portraits and landscapes from the 18th century and still lifes from the 19th century - among others.
