Opened in 1926, it is the oldest museum in the region. In a beautiful building located in the heart of Balboa Park, it unveils an impressive collection, blending 20th century American art, Asian - especially Japanese - contemporary Californian, and classical European, with some Monet, Matisse and Toulouse-Lautrec.
