Located in the western part of Balboa Park, San Diego Automotive Museum exhibits superb collections of 20th century cars and motorcycles. In all, it has more than 80 of them, from Louie Mattar's fabulous 1947 Cadillac - which cost him US$75,000 - to the racing bikes of the famous driver and actor Steve McQueen. In addition, there are temporary exhibitions with a different theme every four months. A beautiful immersion in the evolution of the automobile culture.
