Although it may still be closed for renovation during your visit, the Botanical Building is worth mentioning for its charm. It's a lovely historic building - made of stone and a long glass and steel greenhouse - that houses a beautiful botanical garden. Palm trees, orchids, ferns, tropical species... In total, there are some 2,100 plants, which will be a pleasure to contemplate during a quick walk. At the entrance, the "Lily Pond and Lagoon" is one of the most photographed viewpoints of Balboa Park.
