Henderson Bird Sanctuary, home to over 270 species of birds in an 80-acre oasis of eight ponds

Located in Henderson, east of Las Vegas, the Bird Viewing Preserve brings together over 270 species of birds in an 80-acre oasis with eight ponds. The original intent was to create water retention ponds, but in the end, it was the birds that took up residence. This bird sanctuary attracts ornithologists, wildlife photographers and nature lovers from all over the world to discover this network of ponds. If you go in summer, we strongly advise you to wear a cap and drink plenty of water.
