The Bellagio is a place not to be missed, especially at night when its gigantic fountains put on a show. Awe-inspiring.

Before embarking on the construction of his eponymous tower, Steve Wynn created the Bellagio, which is now owned by MGM Resorts Group. There is luxury on a grand scale that applies to the hotel's 3,933 rooms and suites. Its architecture borrows from the Italian style of grand Lombardian villas with ochre and pastel colors. The hotel also has its own lake, on a smaller scale (600m2), to which it owes its fame. Every day, to a spellbinding musical tune, some 1,000 fountains begin a ballet of poetic water jets: Fountains at Bellagio. It is one of the most beautiful free shows you can see on the Strip. The show is no less impressive inside the casino: a large botanical garden that changes theme five times a year features plants from around the world carefully arranged by the hotel's 140 horticulturalists. The garden is echoed on the lobby ceiling, which features 2,000 colorful glass flowers by artist Dale Chihuly, who also created the grand glass chandelier at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Paintings by famous artists are presented in temporary exhibitions at the Bellagio Galery of Fine Art. Since 1998, the Bellagio has been home to Cirque du Soleil's water show O. The hotel also has some great upscale restaurants, such as Le Cirque and Picasso, whose settings are definitely worth a visit. To see more fountains, this time in a chocolate version, we'll stop by the Bellagio Patisserie.

We stayed 2 nights and naps left with a palia feel. First error: a room has been attributed to us... when it was occupied! Not worthy of a hotel of this category, and it could have been very embarrassing if the occupants of the room had been there when we enter their room! More or less important detail also displeased us: the wi-fi which have all ', or several hours without hot water on the day of departure...Positive side: simple and classy, which contrasts with the other hotels on the Strip, very comfortable bedding, clean, very friendly, nice pools, fountains magical...Bellagio is Ok mythical and you go there for its history. But you can not always capitalize on its reputation. Choose weekday, especially when the prices are affordable.
