TITANIC: THE ARTIFACT EXHIBITION
Exhibition with objects found on the famous Titanic ship offering a walk through the ship and the reconstructed quarters
Opened in 2008, the exhibition presents objects (250 in total) found on the famous liner that sank in the middle of icebergs on April 15, 1912, causing the disappearance of over 1,500 passengers. The wreck, which was located in 1985, still lies at a depth of 3,843 m, 650 km southeast of Newfoundland. Here, the grand staircase, the ship's promenade, and the first and third class quarters have been fully reconstructed in some 2,500m2 of exhibition space.
