When to go Las Vegas ?
When visiting Las Vegas, we strongly advise you to avoid the summer months, as temperatures can rise quickly. It's not uncommon to get well over 40 degrees during this period. Similarly, winter can be cold, with temperatures close to 0 degrees, and above all, some national parks in the region and neighboring states may be closed. April, May, June, September and October are good months to explore Las Vegas and the surrounding area.
With a very low precipitation rate (109 mm annually), the climate of Las Vegas is arid. The hottest period is from May to September with temperatures exceeding 40°C in July and August. While it is also very hot in summer in the large parks nearby, it can be very cold in winter. Snow is not excluded in the vicinity of Las Vegas, where Mount Charleston rises to over 3,000 meters.
