Hotel, classified as a historical monument, in an old hacienda, with a beautiful view, near the entrance to the valley.

Built between 1923 and 1925, this fourteen-room motel is located near the entrance to the valley, in a former hacienda. It could do with some refurbishment, but inside you'll find a veritable opera house, listed as a historic monument! You can visit it every day. Café Amargosa is due to reopen soon. From the hotel, you can enjoy a magnificent sunset over the Amargosa Mountains to the east.

Kind of a surreal stop in Death Valley, literally in middle of nowhere!

Le cinque stelle sono per il fascino sgangherato dell'hotel e quello poetico del teatro visitabile a richiesta

I did not stay there, just did the tour. The story of Marta and her amazing art is cool. Quirky and charming place. I would definitely stay there. Just keep in mind, it's a very old building in the middle of the desert. Worth the stop. Call ahead,

People are ready and available upfront till 8am, no tvs in the rooms but this mostly is for sound and light pollution reasons. Cute place, my partner is into ghost and seemingly this place is haunted? Fun stay regardless ????

Internet connection is provided and has nice skylights in the showers andain hotel. If you are trying to get to Death Valley, especially during this time of year when it's cooler, I would recommend the Opera House. Much much cheaper than the hotels in the valley and only about a half hour drive there.
