Ancient lake with moving stones that move after a heavy rain accompanied by wind and leave footprints on the ground.

Here takes place an astonishing phenomenon. On the bottom of an ancient lake, whose surface has only 4.5 cm of slope on 4 500 m, stones move without apparent reason and leave behind them a trail printed in the ground, like wheel prints. These rocks remain immobile for several months, even years. When a recent rain has made the ground muddy, the wind picks up... and the stones slide. They are blocked in the momentum when the ground becomes dry and cracked again. The longest of the sinuous or rectilinear trails exceed 600 m.
