DEVIL'S GOLF COURSE
Devil's golf course with rough and broken ground with a salt crust of 1.8 m at the thickest
The Devil's Golf Course is an area of dried, salty mud that formed sparkling, sharp-edged waves after a lake dried up between 2000 BC and the beginning of our era. The salt crust reaches 1.80 m at its thickest. This rough, broken ground gives the impression of a ploughed field. This devilishly uneven surface has given rise to the idea that the devil could be seen playing golf here! The whole area with its salt formations can be seen by car.
