Geological art gallery in Death Valley National Park suggesting a very pleasant moderate hike
This geological art gallery is a must-see in the park. Together, irregularly finished brown dolomite fragments, limestone and sand create veritable frescoes on the canyon walls - hence the name. In other places, the dolomite, transformed into marble by heat and pressure, forms colorful swirls in the rock. Count 1h15 for the outward journey and 50 minutes for the return. Very pleasant, the hike is of moderate level - even if some parts require a little climbing.
