Accessible from the parking lot or via the hike through Golden Canyon, Zabriskie Point is a must-see in the park. Almost lunar in appearance, the landscape has been so immortalized that it is now one of the most famous viewpoints in Death Valley. The site gets crowded at sunset, so to ensure the best possible spot, arrive early. Then, simply ignore the other viewers and get lost in the sea of golden and brown landforms that are available to you, undulating under the colors of the sky.

On se sent seul.. Trés seul...
Quand on arrive au coeur de la Vallée de la Mort, on a l'impression de débarquer sur une autre planète, avec des paysages lunaires, et presque pas de touristes si vous y allez l'été !!
Quand on lit les guides touristiques, on a peur d'aller dans la Vallée de la mort en été car on lit des choses atroces concernant la chaleur.. Il y fait chaud, trés chaud, mais pas autant pour "zapper" cette étape indispensable dans la découverte des parcs de l'Ouest...
Les paysages de la "Death Valley" resteront à jamais graver dans votre mémoire...
On ne voit ça nulle part ailleurs...
Et Zabriskie Point est à faire au lever du soleil... Spectacle inoubliable et frissons garantis !
