Adjacent to Temple Square, this monument is an architectural landmark in Salt Lake City. Above all, it is a place of importance for the city: in addition to being part of the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts, it houses the Utah Symphony, the state symphony orchestra. This beautiful concert hall was built in 1979 and is renowned for its excellent acoustics. The icing on the cake: the fine details of the ensemble, from the gold-leafed balconies to the chandeliers decorated with some 18,000 crystals.
