Salt Lake Assembly Hall
Beautiful and unique Victorian Gothic architectural style building, built as a place of worship in 1882
This handsome building contrasts with the buildings in the city center and stands out in Temple Square for its unique Victorian Gothic architectural style and cruciform structure. A tower stands in the middle, while the interior is more modern and streamlined. Built as a place of worship in 1882, Assembly Hall is now used for conferences, recitals and free weekend concerts by international artists. In total, its pews can accommodate almost 1,200 guests. It also boasts a massive organ, with some 3,489 pipes.
