Built between 1863 and 1867, the Tabernacle is a beautiful silver, wood-framed dome that is the site of outstanding organ concerts. If you are in Salt Lake City, be sure to catch the Tabernacle Choir rehearsing there most Thursdays at 7:30 pm. At the entrance to the building, volunteers will guide you to the gigantic room that houses one of the largest organs in the world, with 11,623 pipes. An impressive stage with remarkable acoustics.
