BEEHIVE HOUSE
Hive which was the official residence of Brigham Young who lived with his 57 children in Salt Lake City.
The beehive was the official residence of Brigham Young, who lived there with his 57 children when he was governor of Utah. Later, this house would be the home of his successors. Today, tours are given there by enthusiasts; an excellent way to learn more about the cult and, especially, about the way of life of the first Mormons. For example, we learn that not all of Brigham Young's wives lived with him; only one of them lived in the house at a time. A must-see tour of Temple Square.
