PIONEER MEMORIAL MUSEUM
An interesting museum, the largest facility dedicated to the memories left behind by those who joined the Salt Lake City Valley
Across from the Capitol, this interesting museum offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the pioneer era. The Pioneer Memorial Museum is the largest facility dedicated to the memories left by those who came to the Salt Lake City Valley: nearly forty rooms reveal relics of Utah's past. Among other things, you can see a wagon, maps of the city, the first wooden eagle of Eagle Gate, or even books of Mormons. After exploring the main building, the exhibit continues in the carriage barn.
