CANYON SWAMP
One of the lesser-known areas of Bryce Canyon with the ridges on one side and the hoodoods on the other
One of the lesser-known areas of Bryce Canyon, with ridges on one side and hoodoos on the other. A more intimate relationship with the landscape than the various vantage points, however grand, can offer. Swamp Canyon offers a more intimate vantage point from which to appreciate the grandeur of these magnificent formations. South of Swamp Canyon, Mud Canyon Butte and Noon Canyon Butte are also worth a look. Following the trail to the intersection with the Whiteman Connecting Trail, one reaches the Swamp Canyon campground.
